Auberge de Meo Vac offers a unique stay with cultural charm

L’Auberge de Meo Vac opened in 2013 after being renovated for a year. It is a beautiful guesthouse in a 100-year-old H’mong house, located just 10 minutes’ walk from Meo Vac’s central market.

The house was originally built by a rich H’mong person, based on the style of a fortified farm from southern China. The building still shows signs of its past, including the area’s history with the opium trade.

Made from valuable pine wood, with a wooden stilt structure, adobe walls, a tiled roof, and a stone courtyard, L’Auberge de Meo Vac is a unique and special place. It is a great example of cultural tourism and responsible travel.
